Some workers at the Ministry of Fiance have tested positive for coronavirus.

To that end,sStaff of the Ministry have been directed to work from home while they wait for their COVID-19 test results.

An internal memo sent to all staff noted that those who test positive “will be duly informed and will receive the necessary care from the appropriate health authorities designated by the Ministry of Health.”

In addition, the memo said the necessary contact-tracing will be undertaken by the appropriate authorities.

The Ministry said staff will be duly-informed about the appropriate day to return to the office to work.

However, in view of the preparation toward the mid-year review of the budget, the memo noted that “a core team of staff will work from approved locations to compile the mid-year review.”
