Kosmos Energy supports GHS with RNA extraction machine, swab kits

Kosmos Energy, has donated some medical equipment which include RNA extraction machines and swab kits worth $500,000, to the Ghana Health Service (GHS) as part of their support towards Ghana’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

This forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility to Ghana in the wake of the global health crisis.

The Senior Vice President and the Head of Kosmos Energy Ghana Business Unit, Mr. Joe Mensah, said during the presentation that since Kosmos Energy has been in Ghana for a decade, and feels part of the Ghanaian society, hence, it will only be appropriate to support in times such as this.

“Kosmos Energy has been in Ghana for a decade, and feels part of the Ghanaian society, hence, it will only be appropriate to support in times such as this.

“It will be recalled that during the time of Ebola, the company donated medical equipment and other health-related facilities to aid Ghana’s preparation towards prevention of the spread of the disease,” he said.
