The Guarantee Trust Bank has said it will, as part of moves to curb the spread of the coronavirus infection, check the temperature of all customers before they access the bank’s halls to transact business.
The bank in a message to customers on Friday April 24 urged all customers to also wear their face masks before entering the halls.
This will help in protecting the customers and staff from the deadly virus, the bank said.
The message said: “To ensure your safety and that of our employees, please take note that all customers accessing banking services at our branches nationwide are required to wear face masks effective immediately.
“This is a directive from the government and will complement already existing measures put in place by the bank including temperature checks and use of hand sanitizers at the entrance of our branches and offices.
“We appreciate your cooperation and compliance to these directives.”
