Ecobank Ghana has said all the branches that were closed down following the lockdown of some parts of the country by the President to deal with the COVID-19, have been reopened.
This comes after the president lifted the restrictions of the movement of persons in these areas.
However, the bank said, Saturday banking has been put on hold till further notice.
A statement issued by Management said: “Please be informed that following the suspension f the lockdown of Accra and Kumasi by His Excellency the President of the Republic, all Ecobank branches that were closed in the restricted areas are open for business.
‘Operations in all the branches outside Accra and Kumasi metropolis remain unchanged. There will be no Saturday Banking till further notice.
“All our ATMs, payment platforms and digital channels will continue to be operational.
“You may also contact us on social media or call us on 3225.”
Similarly, the Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) and Stanbic also announced that all their closed branches have been responded for business but not on Saturdays.
