March recorded inflation rate of 7.8%, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has announced.
The Month-on-month the rate of inflation between February 2020 and March 2020 was 0.8%
The GSS said on Wednesday that Food inflation was 8.4% and Non-food Inflation 7.4%
The differential inflation rate between locally produced items (8.8%) and imported items (5.6%) was 3.2 percentage points
For the last 5 months inflation for locally produced goods has been growing faster than inflation for imported goods.
